El Tarter is perfectly positioned to benefit from the excellent snow record of the area. Regularly receiving abundant snowfalls, and with loads of slopes above 2,000m, the resort has perfect snow for skiing and snowboarding from November until May. As an extra snow guarantee the Grandvalira ski area has installed state-of-the-art artificial snow making machines which they use to aid the preparation of the slopes before the season starts and throughout the season to ensure the slopes have the perfect surface for winter sports. |
