The winter climate of Pal and the surrounding Vallnord area is typical of the region, there are Mediterranean levels of sunshine, low temperatures, and abundant amounts of snow. These conditions are perfect for winter sports and the season normally begins around the end of November and lasts until the end of April - and if you're visiting over a weekend it's good to know that the locals who normally come to Pal's ski area at weekends are by the end of the season heading to the beach instead so the slopes should be quieter.
