From Pas de la Casa learners can start on the area at Abelletes and then go on to explore the beginners' areas at Grau Roig and Encamp. In total there are 18 green runs where the less experienced can build confidence. Blue and red graded slopes are the most numerous in the Grandvalira area, these varied runs will keep advanced beginners and all levels of intermediate skiers and boarders busy. Experts have 22 black runs to choose from and the excellent off-piste, with its steep cliffs, powder bowls, and generally challenging terrain. With four snowparks and international fame for its commitment to freestyle, Grandvalira is the perfect resort for boarders and freeskiers.
