The climate in Alpbach is typically Tirolean with warm summers and cold winters which are perfect for snow sports. The region receives exceptional amounts of snowfall and by December the slopes are well enough covered for skiing and snowboarding, this great snow cover normally lasts until spring. The coldest temperatures will be experienced between October and February when the average temperature is around -1°C, but thankfully Alpbach sits on a sunny plateau so during the day you should be able to benefit from the sun's warming rays.
