Each village in the Gastein Valley has good access to ski area around it, and there are regular buses taking you to the other ski areas of the Gastein Valley. The 200km of slopes are varied in level, there are 60km of runs for beginners, 117km for intermediates, and 24km of marked runs for experts. These slopes cover a variety of terrain types, from family-friendly hills and deep snow to carving hills and mogul runs. The largest ski area is found in Schlossalm/Stubnerkogel, the area in Großarl has the biggest variety of terrain types, and Sportgastein is the highest ski area - and has the steepest of slopes. |
