The winter season in Filzmoos begins in early December and lasts until late April. During this time the resort's slopes are covered in lots of snow, either from the abundant natural snowfall or from the artificial snow making system. Equipped with this advanced system, the team at Filzmoos can produce enough artificial snow to ensure there are always well-covered slopes and perfect surfaces for your winter sports holidays. Although the temperatures rise towards the end of Spring and finish the season on Filzmoos' ski area, there are all year round snow sports available on the nearby Dachstein glacier. |
