Snow Fiss

The sunny and sheltered area of the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis plateau doesn't only receive over 2,000 hours of sunshine a year, it's also blessed with huge amounts of snow every year. With these vast amounts of sunshine you'd expect the snow to melt quickly, but thanks to most of the slopes being above 2,000m in altitude the temperatures are kept low and the snow is preserved until spring. And for an extra snow guarantee the ski area has an advanced snow making system which can cover 140km of the 190km of slopes in fantastic artificial snow - ensuring that between December and April you're sure to find lovely snow-covered pistes from the charming village of Fiss.
