Snow Flachau

Thanks to the weather system that is driven over from Siberia the temperatures in Flachau are kept low and the area receives around 250cm of snow every year. Even though the resort receives loads of snow, Flachau prides itself on its ability to manufacture perfect snow whenever it's needed. It has 200 snow cannons which are fed by 5 reservoirs holding a total of 180,000m3 of water, and with these resources Flachau can guarantee snow on every single one of its pistes throughout the winter season until spring.
