Weather Gaschurn with Snowrental

World renowned for the quality of its snow the Montafon ski area has become one of the best mountain sports areas in Austria thanks to its landscape and great climate. The long winter season in Montafon, normally from December until the end of April, is possible because of the low pressure weather systems which come from the Atlantic and bring a lot of precipitation with them. When these systems reach the Vorarlberg region they regularly drop lots of snow onto the Silvretta, Verwall, and Rätikon mountain ranges which surround the Montafon Valley.
