Ischgl is a high-altitude resort - all the slopes, except the ones back to town, are above 2,000m. This altitude, combined with its north-facing orientation, means that the snow in Ischgl is excellent and lasts throughout the long season, normally from the beginning of November to the end May. The slopes that run back into town are lower but are well-served by modern snow canons so skiing back to the village is possible all season. |
