Kitzbuhel with Snowrental

Kitzbühel, one of the most popular resorts in Tyrol, is home to some of the most amazing snow sports opportunities in Austria. Sitting between the Kitzbüheler Horn mountain and the Hahnenkamm peak, Kitzbühel has 170km of pistes, 120km of cross-country tracks, 32km of ungroomed routes for powder hunters, and 170km of winter hiking trails - it's a true winter sports paradise.
Kitzbühel is synonymous with serious skiing, extremely difficult pistes, and the infamous Hahnenkamm race. However, there are plenty lesser known runs in Kitzbühel that are accessible for mere mortals of all levels - out of the 170km of slopes, 67km are graded blue and 79km red. There are also a good selection of excellent ski and board schools in Kitzbühel so complete novices can enjoy this wonderful resort too. For the experts who're drawn to Kitzbühel there is of course the world-famous Streif and other black runs but also varied off-piste terrain and vast numbers of ski mountaineering routes through the back country.
After the slopes close, when darkness is falling, a whole new range of activities open up to you in Kitzbühel. Apart from the normal night skiing, at Kitzbühel you can also go night tobogganing, moonlight snowshoe hiking and even moonlight ski mountaineering. However don't exhaust yourself entirely on the mountains or you'll miss out on all that the town of Kitzbühel has to offer. Dating from the 14th century Kitzbühel is filled with medieval painted houses, concealed passageways, stylish shops, and charming bars and restaurants. And despite its ancient origins it has an après ski scene that rivals any other ski resort in the Alps.¬
Kitzbühel is conveniently located close to three international airports, Innsbruck, Salzburg and Munich, and there's even a direct train link to the resort from Innsbruck.
