Snow Lermoos

The Lermoos area receives good levels of natural snowfall every year, and with slopes above 2,000m this snow is preserved well throughout the winter season. On the lower areas, where temperatures aren’t as good at preserving snow, there are loads of artificial snow making machines which the team at the resort use with the piste grooming machines to guarantee snow and perfect slope surfaces. And as an extra guarantee of snow, the Zugspitz Arena has a ski area on the Zugspitz glacier which is covered in snow all year round.
