The conditions in Niederau and the Kitzbüheler Alps are continually great for winter sports. On average the region receives eight metres of snowfall on the mountainsides, and most of these face North, North-East, or North-West so snow preservation is excellent. It has also been recorded that the temperatures in this area have been dropping, which can only mean conditions for snow sports will continue to improve. However appropriate clothing is a must when visiting Niederau and especially if you'll be exploring the vast winter wonderland of the Kitzbüheler Alpen.
