The Arlberg region of Austria is a firm favourite for winter sports enthusiasts who come here again and again for the fantastic facilities, sun-filled days, and guaranteed snow. The temperatures in winter are normally low, the highest daytime temperatures are around 3° C and at night it can fall to -6° C. This is perfect for winter sports as any precipitation during winter and spring falls as snow. On the high altitude slopes across the Arlberg areas there can sometimes be problems with visibility, but thankfully there are plenty of tree-lined slopes which you can enjoy when conditions higher up are poor.
