Snow Scheffau

The ski area of Scheffau is well placed to receive and retain the natural snowfall of the region. The mountain bowl normally receives 300cm of snow a year, and its cool and shaded position means it often has the best snow conditions in the region.
Although the Ski Welt area, as a whole, has had a reputation for poor snow in the past, this is no longer the case. The resort now boast the biggest snow making capabilities in Austria. Ski Welt has invested in 1,000 machines which can cover 210km of the slopes in beautiful snow should the natural snow need a top up.
