From Serfaus' sheltered position amongst its surrounding 3,000m high peaks the resort enjoys a protected and sunny climate, and receives abundant snowfall every year. With the majority of the downhill slopes above 2,000m snow is guaranteed, and well preserved through the season even with the area's incredible amounts of sunshine. And for extra snow insurance the resort has an artificial snow making system which can coat 140km of the 190km of pistes in beautiful fresh snow.
