Weather Zell am See with Snowrental

The climate in Zell am See is ideal for a winter sports paradise, with cold temperatures and plenty of snowfall. The winter season starts in December and lasts until mid-April, during this time you can expect great snow conditions and the lake will be frozen for some fun ice-based activities. The resort has fantastic artificial snow making facilities to enhance the natural snow cover on the slopes in the Zell am See ski area. But if you want to find entirely natural snow you can always take the short trip up to the Kaprun glacier.
