The Fischer Big Stix FX 7.6 is the perfect ski for people who want a fast, powerfull groomer ski, that is also superb in the steep and deep, as well as moguls, hard pack, and even the park. I bought the 7.6 after trying a range of midfats such as the Solomon Pocket Rocket. The Fischers were the only ones I found to be stable on hard pack snow! They also did the best in the moguls and were very responsive on the groomed. I weight 160 pounds, and on the 175 length skis, they were so beastly powerfull, I could actually come off the snow when exiting a turn. Tremendous fun and plenty of float in the powder. I also use these skis for the park and pipe.

A true all-mtn ski able to ski equally well off-piste or on, the 21m radius feels good and you can really get a good carve going on firm snow, yet still have the float to cruise through the pow. A good alternative to X-Scream's, and a true one ski does it all, testers also liked the Apache Recon, the Salomon Scream Hot and the magnificent B2 from Rossignol.
