Stability in the park, landing big airs or cruising the pipe, ripping it up off-piste and even some talent on piste, the 8.0 is the best model out of the range for advanced to experts who prefer the wilds of the backcountry to pre-prepared groomed trails and their tighter trousered bretheren. The Salomon X-tra Hot is very similar, perhaps a little stiffer and more able at speed, Atomic has it's Metron range which is "alternative", the Stockli Stormrider's are superb but best for experts as are the Movement Demon's, finally I like the Zag Freestyle and they work very well for my clients whether they are new to skiing powder or have year's of experience.
