To give a reference point I am 6’‘2", 195 lbs and working hard to become an expert skiier. I managed to blag a ride on these during the SkiPress week at Whistler at Easter. I was trying to get a pair of Mantras (long term Volkl fan) but the Vokl rep would not budge and the Blizzard chap offered me a ride on these. They rock. They are big and fat, super plush, super stable and carve really well. I managed to get them into most conditions during my test ride (but not trees) and was so impressed that I bought a pair. I consequently skiied a couple of days on them in good snow and powder conditions and they are a real blast. They are much better in varied conditions than the Head m88 (which are really good so Head fans calm down!), manage a great edge in hard conditions and turn an amazingly short radius turn. I am really looking forward to skiing on them at Treble Cone in Jul/ Aug and may post an update after getting a few more days in on them.
