When testing some of these Fischer's I was convinced that they were breeding and coming off the same production line as Ford's Model-T, these ones are grey as well, but that's the colour. With the 9mm high plate it is very easy for beginners to "find" their edges and feel what a ski is like when it is tilted and cutting into the snow as opposed to skidding. This ski is good for this!! So do give them a go if you're just setting out and want a ski that works for YOU! The Dynastar XO0 is phenomenal in this category and the Streetracer 6 from Salomon is also very good at highlighting skiing with your edges to beginners and intermediates.
