Faster than, well almost anything likely to be found on snow, these skis where timed at over 70mph on test, thankfully I was testing recreational skis at the time, but they are fantastically quick from edge-to-edge, stable and very subtle and versatile in their ability to change the shape of turn, ideal for good GS skiers who want to be able to arc different turns around gates. The new 2V is great from Salomon and although a “stock” ski it is still competitive and fiery, also the 9X Race Dept. from Rossi is a winner as is the Atomic GS 11.
