Once the "Kings of the Hill" with the P9 and P10 range, Volkl haven't had the most popular slalom skis in recent times. The P60 does address this situation competently, as with the GS model there is a very reassuring progressive flex mated to an ample sidecut that allows for great carvy short turns anywhere on piste, and a great deal of versatility. But for me they lack the power and "nervousness" for racing slalom on. Worth a try, especially for a first foray into SL skis, but if you are heading in the gates try the Dynastar or Salomon, and perhaps the Atomic or Nordica if you have an excess of Testosterone!
