The climate in Auron is heavily influenced by its proximity to the Mediterranean. The sun shines on the resort almost all year round and throughout Auron you'll find plenty of terraces outside the bars and restaurants where you can relax and enjoy this sun. But don't worry, thanks to the high altitudes and North-North westerly orientation of Auron's ski areas the sun doesn't damage the snow, and the winter season often lasts until the middle of May.
