A big advantage to basing your snow sports holiday in Brides les Bains is the altitude - at 600m high, sitting in the valley, Brides les Bains receives good conditions during winter. Often you'll find when driving to other resorts in the higher Savoyard areas snow and ice combine to make for less than easy journeys. However when travelling to Brides les Bains inclement weather needn't worry you, it's just a 6km drive on gentle valley curves from the main road in Moûtiers. And from this low altitude it's only a short gondola ride up to the snow slopes of Méribel and the rest of the Trois Vallées.
