The season at Chamonix starts in December and runs until April. With its highest lifts and slopes above 2,500m you can be sure of snow through the season. The huge number of off-piste options available for skiers and snowboarders at Chamonix mean the snow on the slopes has reduced wear and tear and the resort has 96 snow cannons to keep its pistes in top condition. The off-piste areas are perfect for powder-hunters, with fresh tracks available all day long. |
