With snow across the 90km of slopes, and skiing and boarding available right back down to the villages, Chamrousse is a great winter sports destination. The perfectly groomed pistes are fantastic, and the resort team give them great amounts of care and attention. And if the natural snow needs an extra layer then the team can use the resorts recently extended artificial snow making system to enhance the slope cover. There's plenty of fresh powder to be found off-piste for freeriding fans. And with advanced riders going off to explore these vast areas of ungroomed mountainside the wear and tear on the groomed slopes is reduced. |
