Snow Chatel

The average snowfall on the slopes of Châtel is 400cm so the varied terrain around the resort is normally covered in a thick layer of the white stuff from December until April. Most of the slopes in Châtel's the large ski area of Linga are north facing and so keep their snow cover for longer, and are ideal in the warmer spring months. To help the natural snowfall the resort has 30 snow canons - along with top quality piste maintenance, these keep the slopes in pristine condition.
