Weather Flaine with Snowrental

The weather in Flaine and across the entire Grand Massif is normally perfect for all snow sports. Although the altitudes of some of the runs are lower than in some other resorts, the snow quality isn't affected. The Grand Massif's north facing slopes and proximity to Mont Blanc ensure that the snow quality is maintained throughout the season - and the area receives a lot of snow, an average six metres of the stuff a year. The slightly lower altitudes in the Grand Massif provide a great advantage, a lot of the slopes are below the tree-line. Meaning that if visibility is poor on the highest, most exposed areas then you have sheltered runs through forest to ski and board down.
