La Chapelle d'Abondance's ski area is perfect for beginners, as most of the slopes are gentle and quiet. And the links to the ski areas of Torgon and Châtel make La Chapelle d'Abondance ideal for all ability levels. Within the Torgon and Châtel areas alone there are around 130km of slopes, which have loads of blue and red runs for beginners and intermediates to enjoy. And from these areas it's easy to explore the rest of the Portes du Soleil, this is where experts will find their thrills. Across the area 26 black runs and loads of off-piste will challenge the most advanced riders. Snowboarders based in La Chapelle d'Abondance shouldn't miss Super Châtel's Smoothpark, which is filled with slide boxes, rails, kickers, hips, boardercross, and loads more. |
