Snow La Clusaz

La Clusaz receives an average annual snowfall of between four metres and six metres, and this can be enhanced by the resort’s 103 snow cannons. The orientation of the slopes – Northwest, North and East – helps to preserve the snow, whether natural or artificial, for the duration of the season. La Clusaz also has several excellent runs below the tree-line and this shady environment not only provides protection to the area but also allows for skiing if the weather closes in. Additionally, off-piste skiing reduces wear and tear on the groomed runs.
