With the slopes reaching up to 2,500m in altitude, and off-piste skiing and snowboarding available even higher on the peak of the Pic du Midi at 2,877m, you can be sure you'll find great snow cover during your winter holiday in La Mongie. The resort receives around 500cm of snowfall every year and the low temperatures found on the slopes preserve this snow excellently. Just in case the ski area needs an extra covering La Mongie has 170 snow cannons which can coat a huge number of the slopes in artificial snow.
