The beauty of a ski or snowboard holiday in Les Gets is that the main ski area has a real mix of terrain. This makes it the ideal resort for mixed-ability groups - everyone can travel up to the same point on top of the mountain, choose a route down that suits them, and everyone, whether beginner, intermediate or expert, can meet again at the bottom. Another bonus of Les Gets is, of course, the massive linked ski area of the Portes du Soleil. A nice way to take advantage of the links is to ski over to Morzine, up to Avoriaz and then on to Switzerland for lunch. There are dozens of routes to do this journey and its possible entirely on blue and red slopes. |
