Snow Megève

Between December and April Megève has great snow, due to its high altitude and proximity to Mont Blanc's weather system. Every year Megève receives around 200cm of snowfall, and after every good snow dump there's plenty of powder on and off-piste, as the resort leave some slopes ungroomed to allow everyone to experience the soft fresh powder. Throughout the season the team at the resort maintain the groomed pistes incredibly well, and are able to augment the natural snow with artificial snow from 278 snow guns. A good tip if you're looking for the best snow late in the season is Megève's Côte 2000 ski area, thanks to the north facing slopes the snow isn't affected by the sun.
