The high altitude of Montgenèvre, and its slopes, ensure great snow cover throughout the season, from early December until late April. And although the resort is really sunny the temperatures are low enough that this doesn't affect the quality of the snow. Also snow is guaranteed across the Via Lattea thanks to its extensive artificial snow making system - in total there are 146 slopes in the domain, and 120 of them can be coated in artificial snow by the snow cannons. |
