The wide variety of terrain on offer at Morzine makes it perfect for skiers and boarders of all abilities. Beginners can practice on some excellent nursery slopes just a short walk from their accommodation. Taking the Pleney cable car from the centre of town gives access to great skiing for beginners and intermediates and some excellent off-piste options. For the more adventurous there is the World Cup descent from Avoriaz down to Morzine which will challenge even the most experienced skier. And as Morzine is situated in one of the largest snow sports areas in Europe if you want to find thrills outside of the resort there are extensive lift systems which open up the entire Portes du Soleil to you. |
