In winter and spring Pralognan La Vanoise experiences the typical climate of the Tarentaise Valley which brings lots of snowfall and cold temperatures. During December and April these conditions are perfect for winter sports with a good covering of snow on the slopes and the artificial snow cannons capable of producing more cover if needed. Between snowfalls the skies are mostly clear over the Tarentaise Valley but occasionally poor weather will affect sports on the highest parts of the resort, however Pralognan La Vanoise has plenty of trails through the forest so you'll always have slopes with good visibility to enjoy.
