Guaranteed snow until late in the season, Puy St Vincent occupies a privileged position in an incredibly sheltered spot. Nicknamed “la protégée des vents" which means "the village protected from the wind," Puy St Vincent hides between the high peaks that surround it and benefits from the cooling glaciers in the area - the resulting climate is perfect for snow sports. The resort receives 547cm of snow a year, which is preserved by the low temperatures, and the slopes are mainly north facing so they don't suffer from over exposure from the sun. |
