Between December and April SuperDévoluy is open for snow sports and you can expect excellent piste conditions in the ski area. Every year the ski area receives a good amount of natural snowfall, and this is preserved until spring with the help of the low temperatures and the high altitudes of the slopes - although SuperDévoluy has a Mediterranean climate with lots of sunshine the height of the mountains helps to curb sun damage to the snow. SuperDévoluy isn't known for its great powder snow but there's some to be found if you know where to look, a mountain guide will be able to help. |
