At Tignes there is some of the earliest and latest skiing in the winter season and even some summer skiing to be found. The winter season starts in September and last until May. And in summer you can ski and board on the Grande Motte glacier from June to August. There are blue, red and blacks runs, and the snowpark moves up onto the glacier for summer. The altitude of Tignes means that the snow is consistently excellent and is one of the few remaining completely snow-sure resorts in France. |
