Between December and April you can expect to find excellent snow sports conditions in the Peisey-Vallandry ski resort. Most of the slopes are above 2,000m in altitude so receive good snowfall throughout the season, and they're ideally orientated to retain this snow until spring. The resort is located in a sheltered position on the south-west facing side of the Les Arcs Massif so it's protected from the wind and receives a lot of sun, which is most welcome in the cold winter months. And just in case conditions are poor on the highest of slopes, there are lots of runs though the lower wooded areas. |
