Valmeinier and the Galibier-Thabor ski area have excellent snow records, so you can expect great conditions during the winter season - between December and April. 70% of the area is above 2,000m making most of the slopes snow-sure throughout the season and just in case, the resort has a massive 400 snow cannons. These artificial snow makers cover a huge number of pistes and use a completely natural process to top up the snow cover and ensure the slopes have the perfect surface for your snow sports holiday.
