Vaujany with Snowrental

Less than two hours drive from Grenoble airport, the small traditional hamlet of Vaujany is nestled high in the Dauphiné–Isère region and faces the beautiful Massif des Grandes Rousses mountains . Vaujany forms one part of an 8 station collective, and a short cable car ride gives you access to the neighbouring resort of Oz-en-Oisans, which has a further 12 slopes amid scenery every bit as stunning as Vaujany. And you can also travel on to the famous Alpe d’Huez, from where you can ascend Pic Blanc and look out over the majestic Mont Blanc.

Within the Vaujany ski area there are 47km of groomed pistes, at altitudes between 1,100 and 3,300 meters. Over half of the slopes are graded green or blue, so Vaujany is great for family groups, beginner, and intermediate skiers. Snowboarders are also well catered for as the area has wide, powdery slopes and a snowpark with half and quarter pipes, high jumps, tables, and whoops. Experienced skiers and boarders will enjoy the resort's red and black runs - and everyone can enjoy Vaujany's links to it's neighbouring resorts. You can also take some time away from the slopes and explore the resort’s charming surroundings. Whether you try cross country skiing or go on a guided hike around Vaujany, you are sure of breathtaking views and an experience to remember.

Vaujany has a number of types of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets, from simple hotel rooms to comfortable apartments. For evening entertainment the resort has a skating rink, indoor swimming pool complete with water slides, and a sports complex. And the local area also has a number of museums and other cultural activities throughout the season. There's a range of restaurants to choose and a choice of bars to relax in after hard days on the slopes.
