Breuil Cervinia Ski Resort Information

Located in the Aosta Valley in Italy, the ski resort of Breuil Cervinia sits at 1,524m and rises up to touch the 4,000m high peak of Piccolo Cervino - dominating the scenery, this infamous mountain is also known as the Matterhorn. Breuil Cervinia was one of the first purpose-built ski resorts in Europe, and continues to deliver excellent modern facilities. With an impressive 150km of marked slopes in the Breuil Cervinia Valtournenche ski area and international links to Zermatt in Switzerland, you'll find a total of 350km of slopes to enjoy - more than enough to ski or board every day of your holiday and never repeat the same run twice. The Indianpark in Breuil Cervinia is considered to be one of the best snowparks in the Alps, so snowboarders and freeskiers shouldn't miss it. And you can even ski and board during the summer on the Plateau Rosà glacier!
On top of all these fantastic skiing and snowboarding facilities the Breuil Cervinia ski resort has a huge selection of other activities, on and off the snow. You can explore the frozen waterfalls in the area by ice climbing with a Cervino Mountain Guide, and you can try combining skiing and climbing with ski mountaineering on one of the three day courses. For pure fun and excitement you can fly down a 280m descent on a snow dinghy, go karting on an ice circuit, or ride through the snowy woodland on a snowmobile. More traditional activities are abundant in Breuil Cervinia too, with the natural ice rink, cross-country ski trails, and loads of snowshoe hikes. Non-snow based attractions include Europe's highest museum on the Plateau Rosà, and a cinema, bowling alley, sports centre, spa facilities, and plenty of shops in the village centre. For après ski you'll be spoilt for choice, the restaurants and bars in Breuil Cervinia all contain the characteristic Alpine atmosphere and cater for a wide range of tastes - families will be happy with the quieter, more relaxed establishments, and night owls can party until late in the clubs.
