Corvara with Snowrental

Formed around 200 million years ago the Dolomites are truly breathtaking, and the village of Corvara is an excellent place from which to explore this ancient landscape. The Corvara ski resort is part of the Alta Badia ski area which sits in the sunny Val Badia Valley surrounded by meadows and forests, and at the foot of some of the imposing Dolomite peaks. From this privileged position Corvara has 130km of marked slopes on its doorstep in the Alta Badia ski area. And with its connections to the Dolomiti Superski area, from Corvara you can go on to explore 1,220km of pristine pistes across twelve ski resorts.
The slopes around Corvara are ideally suited to beginners, intermediates, and families with lots of gentle blue runs and nice long reds. There are more challenging slopes in the Alta Badia ski area which experts will enjoy, but the real joy for advanced riders will be found off-piste. Away from the slopes, with a guide, you can find terrain as extreme as you can handle. And of course the ski areas of the other Dolomiti Superski area have a huge variety of slopes and terrain for all ability levels.
Alternative activities to skiing and snowboarding are numerous and varied in the Alta Badia area. There are 80km of Nordic walking and hiking trails throughout the area, from the easiest valley walks to the most challenging mountain trails. Snowshoeing is also well catered for, and of course there are loads of tobogganing runs for classic fun in the snow.
And back in the village there are even more things to do. From leisure facilities and beauty centres, to amazing pastry shops and fantastic wine bars, you'll be spoilt for choice. And for après ski the activities are hugely varied too, ranging from quiet aperitifs to huge gastronomic banquets, or late nights filled with dancing and cocktails.
