Courmayeur has slopes up to 2,256m and is surrounded by some of the highest mountains in Europe, most notably Mont Blanc, this creates the perfect climate for snow sports. The resort receives an average of 700cm of natural snowfall every year and thanks to the altitudes and cold temperatures the snow lasts. The main ski area in Courmayeur is also north west facing which helps to preserve the snow. The resort team take great care of their ski area and have snow cannons covering 70% of the slopes, these 330 snow cannons guarantee that you'll find the slopes in perfect condition during your holiday in Courmayeur. |
