Livigno has the best of both worlds where climate is concerned. Because of the high altitudes of the slopes, between 1,816m to 2,950m, the resort can guarantee fantastic snow cover from December until May. And thanks to Livigno's position in the Valtellina valley, running from north to south, the resort has sunny slopes all day long - there are slopes on both sides of the valley so if you want to you can ski or board all day while enjoying the warming rays of the sun.
