Sauze d'Oulx has slopes and terrain for all ability levels. The great ski schools in the resort help novices and beginners to progress on the nursery areas around the village and up on the plateau at Sportina. And from this plateau intermediates can begin to explore the long cruising blue and red slopes of the resort, before going on the other Via Lattea areas. A good trip for intermediates is to ski over to Montgenèvre in France, although you have to allow a full day for this adventure and set off early. Experts will find challenging terrain on Via Lattea’s 40 black pistes, as well as in the vast and varied off-piste areas. |
