Experts will love this piste basher, a very useable 17m radius at 170cm, and similar construction to the race skis gives you enough life on your feet for high-speed angles and smiles. Capable of carving on any groomed run and at any steepness, they are good fun, but can be a little single-minded and tiring longer term. Atomic's SX 11 Supercross is a little livelier and you can vary the shape of the turn more, also the Dynastar Skicross Pro is excellent, but the Volkl Superspeed is something else, smoother, faster and stealthier!
