As with the GS, the SL XBS is the "Dog's", astonishing power, grip and speed, the problem comes when YOU need to control all these forces. Best suited to experts and racers, certainly regular skiers, more Pitbull than Dobermann as these don't let go! The de-tuned SC version is a joy, and the perfect recreational slalom ski; also try the new smoother Salomon 3V EQ and the Head SL Chip, which is wonderful for all-round piste skiing.
